Description: Lewis Carroll's Wonderland characters are so, well, wonderful that favorite playwright Brian D. Taylor has brought them together in an original story with the same wit and whimsy as the classic tales. Mad Hatter, Dormouse, and March Hare meet for a tea party to honor Time, who has forgiven the Hatter and set time right once again. When the Jabberwock comes and wreaks havoc, the tea party guests - including the Caterpillar, the Duchess, the Frog Footman, and Tweedledee and Tweedledum decide that something must be done. Time suggests they travel back through time to the moment when the Jabberwock arrives so that they might catch him. They travel back several times, but White Rabbit's watch is fast, Hatter's is slow, and they just can't catch the Jabberwock. Finally, Hare realizes they must fix the nick in Time... Time's cloak, that is, to save them from the Jabberwock! After all, a stitch in Time saves nine!

Description: Back by popular demand – now with added music! Nina Simone’s velvet voice was unafraid to sing lyrics that cut right to the truth. From the iconic “I Put a Spell on You” to “Feelin’ Good” to the protest song “Four Women” of the title, her music was a personal and political exploration branded in the kiln of the Civil Rights Movement. Simone’s lyrics weave a story of four women alienated from themselves and each other due to the color of their skin. Together, they sing their truth and rise triumphant — women proud “To Be Young, Gifted and Black.” “All I want is equality for my sister, my brother, my people and me…” — Nina Simone, “Mississippi Goddam”

Combining light-hearted comedy and quirky characters with a serious, heart-rending storyline, Steel Magnolias has been translated into seventeen languages and has been produced across the world. As the title suggests, "female characters are as delicate as magnolias but as tough as steel". The play's enduring relevancy likely stems from a combination of its strong female characters, its themes of the power of sisterhood, and its witty, memorable script. This show is recommended for ages 10 and up, children under 5 will not be admitted to the theater for this production.

Description:We Are Proud to Present a Presentation About the Herero of Namibia, Formerly Known as Southwest Africa, From the German Sudwestafrika, Between the Years 1884-1915 Going off-script can sometimes be the best way to tell a story. We Are Proud to Present follows an ensemble of American actors -- three black and three white – as they rehearse a stage presentation about a genocide in 1900s colonial Africa. Questions arise when they realize that summarizing the event doesn’t do justice to the people it affected, and while they struggle to understand both sides, they make connections between the past they are portraying and the issues confronting them in the present. Equal parts comedy and drama, We Are Proud to Present sparks powerful conversations about race, nationality, ethics, exploitation and sovereignty, while exposing the issues both in humorous moments of failed communication and striking moments with haunting artistic discoveries. Part of the Level Nine Series, devoted to community dialogue about today’s most significant topics and questions.
