Description: A great American Musical Theatre classic, magically returns to the Main Stage! Come along to the idyllic kingdom of Camelot. Revel in the rich, deeply romantic legend of King Arthur and his beloved Queen, Guenevere. Celebrate the dashing Sir Lancelot, the gallant Knights of the Round Table, the mystical wizard Merlin and the Lady of the Lake from the mists of Avalon. Beyond romance, noble quests and magic spells lie twisted plots, inner demons and betrayal – all threatening to snuff out Arthur’s dreams to build the greatest kingdom ever known – one where true justice and compassion reign supreme. The ideals of Camelot are ones we long for in our own day, making Camelot a hopeful legend for all time. Written by Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe (My Fair Lady, Brigadoon), Camelot is a multi-Tony Award-winner, including one for Best Musical Score. Camelot is based on the King Arthur legends found in T.H. White’s novel The Once and Future King. Rediscover the romance and grandeur of Camelot - at Chanhassen Dinner Theatres.

Description: Back by popular demand – now with added music! Nina Simone’s velvet voice was unafraid to sing lyrics that cut right to the truth. From the iconic “I Put a Spell on You” to “Feelin’ Good” to the protest song “Four Women” of the title, her music was a personal and political exploration branded in the kiln of the Civil Rights Movement. Simone’s lyrics weave a story of four women alienated from themselves and each other due to the color of their skin. Together, they sing their truth and rise triumphant — women proud “To Be Young, Gifted and Black.” “All I want is equality for my sister, my brother, my people and me…” — Nina Simone, “Mississippi Goddam”

Description: On Sneetch Beach, there’s a line in the sand—Star Bellies on one side, Plain Bellies on the other. That’s the way it is, was and will be. At least until the sneaky and greedy Sylvester Monkey McBean comes to town with his Star On machine. Suddenly, the difference between the haves and the have nots—those with stars and those without—isn’t so clear. What will the Sneetches do now? In this rousing and inventive musical adaptation of Dr. Seuss’ powerful parable about the surface things that divide us, it will take a courageous friendship between an unlikely pair of Sneetches to find the answers.
