Description: Talk about sibling rivalry! Based on the Biblical tale, Joseph's eleven brothers are jealous of how much their father Jacob loves his favorite son and the coat of many colors that Jacob has given to the dreamer Joseph. So they fake Joseph's death, actually selling him into slavery. But Joseph's indomitable spirit shines through, in colors of red and yellow and green and brown, ultimately showing them that any dream will do. This Andrew Lloyd Weber and Tim Rice classic features songs such as "Any Dream Will Do," 'Joseph's Dreams," "Go, Go, Go Joseph," "Song of the King" and "Those Canaan Days"

Description: Titanic is set on the ocean liner RMS Titanic which sank on its maiden voyage. The sinking of the Titanic in the early hours of April 15, 1912, remains the quintessential disaster of the twentieth century. A total of 1,517 souls - men, women and children - lost their lives (only 711 survived). The fact that the finest, largest, strongest ship in the world-called, in fact, the "unsinkable" ship-should have been lost during its maiden voyage is so incredible that, had it not actually happened, no author would have dared to contrive it. In a stunning chamber musical as massive as the ocean liner that shares its name, Titanic tells the stories of the people on board the legendary steamer and the men who got them there. Spanning all classes, Titanic captures the stories from the whole range of humanity aboard the ship: from workers in the boiler room to first-class attendants, from the poorest passengers, who scraped together their life savings to purchase third-class tickets to America, to some of the wealthiest men of the Victorian age, including John Jacob Astor and Benjamin Guggenheim. Full of memorable characters based on the real men and women on the ship, Titanic is a powerful, complex look at the making of a tragedy. This show is recommended for ages 10 and up, children under 5 will not be admitted to the theater for this production.

Description: In Little Orph’n Annie Get Your Gun When You’re in Town, curly-haired Annie the orphan—now older and carrying a six-shooter to perform in Bison Bob’s Wild West Show and Gun Emporium—is still trying to find her parents. Will the local Pistolville Police and others help or stop her in her quest for true happiness? One thing’s sure-shootin’: this musical satire on America’s gun culture is bound to trigger laughter. In How to Achieve in Business with a Phantom on the Roof, young executive-to-be Jay Powerpoint Flinch is attempting to take the express elevator all the way to the top of a family-owned nondairy creamer business. Will corporate traditions, loveable boss’s daughters, or a phantom-like IT guy hinder his meteoric rise? The market probability is high that this satire on America’s business culture will have you laughing your liabilities off as a positive return on your theatrical investment.

Description: Binky Rudich, his friend Viv, and his almost human sheep Bob, tinker with a two-speed clock with the idea that, as Binky says, "Time on Earth moves at the same speed all the time, but there is another speed, a slower speed, and if we could find it, everything would stand still on Earth and we would spin off." And they do! To Crestview, Fourth World in the Goolagong System, ruled by George Topax and guarded by the Great Space Pandas. Pulitzer-prize winning playwright, David Mamet, pens this colorful children’s sci-fi fantasy full of vibrant characters and hilarious dialogue perfectly suited to our second annual Theater for Young Performers production.

Description: Sculptor Arnold Rubek has it all: fame, fortune, a beautiful young wife. Yet his work has descended into mediocrity, and his life has sunk into a pit of boredom. A chance encounter with his muse – the model for his masterpiece and the only woman he ever loved – ignites in him the passions he has long stifled. Art and life play out their conflict as Rubek searches for the man he once was, the artist his muse once inspired. Subtitled “A Dramatic Epilogue,” Ibsen’s final play is also the last in our series of adaptations by playwright Jeffrey Hatcher.

Description: Based on Toni Morrison’s first novel, The Bluest Eye is a heartrending coming-of-age story about a young black girl in 1940s Ohio. Pecola Breedlove wants nothing more than to be loved, but she’s only met with ridicule and abuse. Confronting turmoil at home, she prays for Shirley Temple’s blue eyes, believing their beauty is the only thing standing between her and the happiness of the white girls at school. By turns beautiful and harrowing, this powerful adaptation explores the destructive power of a racist society and the strength of a community attempting to embrace an era of change.
